The City of Victorville is expanding the Avigilon Security Camera System and is requesting quotes to install cameras, hardware, associated cabling, and Network Video Recorder (NVR) at City Hall located at 14343 Civic Dr. Victorville, CA 92392. Scope of work is to include cabling and equipment installation, programming, commission of the equipment, and training of city staff. There are twenty-three (23) new camera locations throughout City Hall depicted on the Camera Layout Plan (See attached Exhibit A). Also attached is a list of specified cameras and supporting equipment (See Exhibit B). The awarded contractor must be an authorized approved installer of Avigilon Security Camera Systems. The Contractor shall pay the City the sum of $500.00 per day for each and every calendar day delay in finishing the work in excess of the 180 Calendar days specified below as Liquidated Damages. Time being of the essence, the work under this contract shall be diligently prosecuted to completion before expiration of 180 Calendar Days beginning on the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by: (a) cash; (b) a certified or cashier's check; or (c) a bidder's bond made payable to City of Victorville in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Total Base Bid as bid security. Said Bid Guaranty shall be enclosed in the same envelope as the Bid Proposal and no bid shall be considered unless such Bid Guaranty is enclosed therewith. The successful Bidder will be also required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Total Base Bid. Question Deadline 09/25/2024 at 12:00 PM PT Prospective Bidders desiring an explanation or interpretation of this solicitation, plans, specifications, etc., must request it in writing from the Purchasing Division. All Bidders shall be licensed as a contractor at the time of contract award in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 9, Division 3, of the California Business and Professions Code. The successful Bidder must hold a valid C-7 California Contractor's License. Bidder must be an authorized installer for Avigilon Security Camera systems. Any Bid submitted which does not comply with the provisions of this Section will be considered nonresponsive and be rejected. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding. The Contract award, if any, will be made to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive to all the requirements set forth in Contract Documents. Such award, if made, shall be made within ninety (90) calendar days after the City's opening of the bids.
