the Huntington County Community School Corporation (HCCSC) HNHS Ceiling, Lights, PA, Piping Systems Replacement project. Contract shall be Bid as a single project. Work shall be Substantially Complete no later than Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Bids should be placed in an envelope and clearly marked "HCCSC - HNHS Ceiling, Lights, PA, Piping Systems Replacement". No bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the Huntington County Community School Corporation within ninety (90) days of the Bid opening. Each Bid must be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit as provided by law. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified Cashier's check or Financial Surety Bond in the amount of fivepercent (5%) of the amount of the Bid, made payable to the Treasurer of Huntington County Community School Corporation to guarantee the School Corporation against default by such Bidder in complying with the terms of this notice and of its Bid. The Board of School Trustees reserves the right to reject any and/or all Bids. This project replaces elevators in the following buildings: Everitt Laboratory Hall (0037): Replaces the only hydraulic elevator in the building. Project will include full modernization, including new machine, new cab, new doors, and new controls, with capacity upgraded to C3 and relocation of machine room to the basement. Elevator may remain hydraulic with existing jack in service. Engineering Sciences Building (0174): Replaces existing duplex Elevator 2 and Elevator 3 which are overhead traction. Project will include full modernization, including new machine, new cab, new doors, new controls, new overhead traction with Permanent Magnet Gearless machines. Elevator 2 to be C3 rated and be provided with inconspicuous riser to permit maintenance to call the C3 for heavy loads. Refer to Division 01 of the technical specifications for a complete, detailed breakdown of the base bids and alternates for this project. This project includes a Project Labor Agreement that will be executed between the lowest responsible/responsive bidder and the East Central Illinois Building and Construction Trades Council. A copy of the Project Labor Agreement is included at the end of Section00 90 00.
