The work to be performed under this contract consists of the following major items of work as listed below and as further described in the solicitation documents: In general, the work to be performed consists of but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of existing 6-inch or 8-inch sewer mains with 8-inch sewer mains using trenchless and open cut pipe replacement construction methods, sewer lateral reconnections & replacement, sewer manhole reconnections, cleanout and/or backflow prevention devices, sewer and storm drain manhole installations and rehabilitation, surface restoration, pavement restoration, potholing, asphalt concrete removal, asphalt concrete installation, asphalt concrete base repair, slurry seals, ADA ramp construction, PCC curb & gutter removal and replacement, PCC sidewalk removal and replacement, PCC valley gutter removal and replacement, storm drain inlet top portion replacement, utility cover lowering & restoring to grade, utility cover grade adjustment, underground utility location, survey monument reinstallation, sign/striping/markers removal & replacement, traffic control, mobilization, manhole modifications, sewage bypassing and all other work as shown on the Plans and as called for in the Special Provisions and as directed by the Engineer.
