Design Services for the Riverwalk Center Parking Garage Repairs Riverwalk Center Parking Garage is an existing 7 story parking garage that spread over approximately two city blocks. The garage accommodates approximately 2200 car spaces with a helipad that is separate from the structure and not included in this scope of work. The portion of the facility that is not used as car space is comprised of offices and retail shops/malls situated on the north side of the garage at the first level, The work under this contract includes Engineering Design Services for Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. Specific tasks include: - Repairs and updates to fire department connections (FDC) lines and standpipes throughout the garage. - Upgrades to the electrical system to support recent elevator improvements. - Pressure washing and waterproofing the exterior of the building and top slabs. - Installation/replacement of damaged or missing perimeter wood rails at all levels. - Removal of rust and painting of all metal tube rail behind wood rails at all levels. - Painting of stair rails/handrails/posts The project will be performed at the Riverwalk Parking Garage located at 150 SE 2nd Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL. Period of Performance The work shall commence within 14 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. Substantial completion is expected within 180 calendar days after commencement. The initial contract term is two years from the award date, with options for two additional one-year extensions.
