The Town of Nipawin is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to retrofit the sewage lift station located on 3rd Street North. The project aims to enhance the sewage infrastructure of the town to ensure efficient and reliable wastewater management. The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to: Installation of electrical control systems, and other necessary equipment. Replacement of force main pipe and sewage pump Installation of an auto dialer that alarms the Utility department if system is having any issues Connection to existing sewage infrastructure. Testing and commissioning of the lift station. Any associated civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works. The lift station must be designed to handle the projected sewage flow and load requirements for the area. All materials and equipment used must meet or exceed industry standards and specifications. The lift station must incorporate efficient and reliable pumping systems with appropriate controls for monitoring and operation. The design must consider factors such as environmental impact, safety, and future maintenance requirements. Award of contract: September 23rd, 2024 The Town of Nipawin reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders received, in whole or in part, and to waive irregularities or informalities at its discretion. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
