Question Deadline 09/12/2024 at 1:00 PM ET The bidder must bring all requests for information as provided above no later than 1:00pm, ten (10) business days before the bid opening date. Bids will be received at the above-referenced location for a lump sum, single prime, Overall General Construction Contract as follows: BID NO: C-24-007 PROJECT: 519 Ringwood Avenue Senior and Veterans Housing Project LOCATED AT: 519 Ringwood Avenue, Pompton Lakes, NJ 07442 Bidders must email their request at least one (1) business day in advance to gain access to bid documents. Prospective bidders must have an active fax number to allow for proper notification of Addenda or Letters of Clarification. Bidders are recommended to secure an eFax or other suitable electronic fax account to allow such notifications. Bids must be submitted, on forms supplied, in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and addressed to the Owner with the caption "Sealed Bid" clearly indicating bid title, due date and time. Proposals submitted on forms other than herewith provided will be rejected. TIME AND PLACE OF BIDDING Bids shall be received, either in person, at the hour designated in this notice, at the Owner's office, address referenced above or mailed or delivered in person ahead of the time for receipt to the designated location. If delivered ahead of time, they are to be inserted in a smaller bid envelope, sealed, and the small envelope is to be inserted into a larger envelope for mailing or delivery clearly marked "Sealed Bid". Please take note that some overnight delivery services offer a service which guarantees delivery of your packages by 9:00 A.M. The office may not be open at this early hour and some vendors are discovering that the delivery services will not re-attempt delivery of the package until after the bid opening. Please be guided accordingly. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that bids are presented to the Owner by the hour and at the place designated. NO BIDS SHALL BE ACCEPTED, IN PERSON OR BY MAIL, AFTER THE HOUR DESIGNATED FOR RECEIPT. All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C.17:27. An Initial Project Manning Report will be requested from the successful bidder (Form AA201). Each bid, shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Owner for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total bid, including alternates, not to exceed $20,000. Corporate bidders are required by law to submit a list of the names and addresses of all interest-holders owning 10% or more of their interest. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with applicable law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.A.C. 17:27 and N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2. The Contractor and listed sub-contractors are required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 "The Public Works Contractor Registration Act" and must submit certification(s) in accordance with the law. Bidders and all listed sub-contractors are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 for proof of Business Registration Certification. This project will have a Project Labor Agreement in conformity with N.J.S.A. 52:38-1 et seq., Chapter 38 Project Labor Agreements. NJ Prevailing Wage Act and Davis-Bacon Act are applicable for this project. The Contractor shall pay the higher prevailing wage rate for any craft as determined by the U.S. Secretary of Labor or the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
