Request for Information (RFI) No: 003 Date of RFI: September 11,2024 o Performance Period o Two Hundred Seventy (270) Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed Question Deadline 09/12/2024 at 4:30 PM ET All questions must be submitted to the Purchasing Agent in writing via fax to 973-621 -5109 New High-Pressure Steam Boiler Hall of Records Power House - Temporarily remove an existing window unit in order to provide rigging access for the installation ofthe new boiler. Reinstall window after installation of new boiler. Repair and restore all brickwork surrounding the window and replace any broken bricks. -Demolish selected segments of existing piping. Demolish existing Plant Monitoring Panel. -Provide one (1) new high pressure steam boiler with appurtenances including aircompressor (for oil atomization), piping, control valves, manual valves, safety valves, insulation, labeling and identification, plant controls and related components. Provide new burners, burner controls, fuel oil atomizing air compressors, Bumer/Combustion Control Panel, Boiler Control Panel and Plant Master Controller. -Provide flow meters for steam, gas and fuel oil for the new boiler. -Tie-in existing Boilers #2 and #3 to the new Plant Master Controller. Tie in existing steam and gas flow meters from Boilers #2 and #3 to the new Plant Master Controller. -Provide all field piping, valves, pipe supports and hangers, insulation and ID labeling and tags. Modify existing access platform as indicated on the Drawings as necessary to gain access to selected valves and controls. -Tie in new boiler and its related piping to the existing systems including existing deaerator and boiler feed water, make-up water, chemical treatment, blowdown, steam venting, drainage, exhaust flue, fuel oil and natural gas systems -Paint the existing concrete pad below boiler. Paint all insulated and uninsulated piping as specified. Label all piping, valves and equipment as specified.
