The proposed contract requires the provision of approximately 189,697cubic metres of multi-phase block assessment and layout services for timber sale licence development located across Barton, Graystokes Mission, Paxton, Skaha operating areas in the Okanagan-Columbia Business Area. The contract will require a range of qualified professionals and technical staff working in various conditions including isolated areas. Forest development activities will include but are not limited to total resource plans, block planning, block/road layout, assessments (old-growth deferral, blocks, roads, bridges, terrain, windthrow, stream, wildlife, visuals, etc.) and timber sale package preparations. Contract deliverables will be planned for completion throughout the fiscal year to meet the business area quarterly targets. Projects will be completed concurrently as per the approved work progress plan and schedules. All contract related questions must be submitted in writing ONLY to the following email address: Forests.OkanaganColumbiaTimberSalesOffice@gov.bc.ca. Deadline for receiving questions is 4:00 pm on September 13, 2024. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to Electronically by September 17, 2024.
