The scope of work for the bridge replacement includes but is not limited to, the following: installation of erosion and sediment control, control of water, demolition of the existing bridge and substructure, placement of riprap scour protection covered with 12 inches of natural streambed material and the installation of the bridge. The proposed bridge is comprised of superpave on a reinforced concrete deck with spread box beams supported by reinforced concrete integral abutments with steel piles, bridge rail, and other incidental work necessary to complete the proposed project.
