Furnishing of all labor, material and equipment for the Proposed Lorain/Medina Community Based Correctional Facility Flat Roof Work Project The estimated cost of all work for this project is $220,000.00. All contractors involved with this project will to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of this project. Bidders shall submit a list of equipment available, and all labor shall be paid no less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Wage and Hour Division. Digital copies of the bid documents can be obtained free of charge by e-mailing Jessica Burns, Purchasing Coordinator at jburns@loraincounty.us. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal shall contain the full name or names of persons and bidders who submit the proposal and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked "PROPOSED LORAIN/MEDINA COMMUNITY BASED CORRECTIONAL FACILITY FLAT ROOF WORK PROJECT." The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any, and all bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities if it is deemed in the best interest of Lorain County to do so. Any interpretation, correction, or modification to the specifications desired shall be submitted in writing to the Lorain County Administrator, 226 Middle Avenue, Elyria, Ohio 44035, and must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date of the bid opening.
