The existing air compressor serving lab spaces in Hudson Annex is at end of life and replacement is needed. The compressor is in the Mechanical Penthouse. Replacement of existing oil/water separator and air dryer should also be included in this scope. All questions will be answered and published with the bid documents under Attachments on online, no later than Friday, September 13, 2024. Contract term: 1 year All work on this Contract is to be completed within the time frame indicated in the Project Schedule portion of the Project Manual, starting immediately upon the notice to proceed, after the contract approval date of the New York State Comptroller (if applicable). Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Total MWBE Participation Goals: 30% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.
