Montco SAAC Ambler Paving Improvement Project at the project site, 45 Forest Avenue, Ambler, PA 19002 Question Deadline 09/16/2024 at 12:00 PM ET Location online portal. Questions regarding this project shall be submitted via online. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of Montgomery County Senior Adult Activities Center, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, shall be submitted with each Bid. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond and Labor and Material men's Bond. This Contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, which provides that training, employment and other economic opportunities generated by HUD assistance or HUD-assisted projects covered by section 3, shall, to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low- and very low-income persons, particularly persons who are recipients of HUD assistance for housing. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Montgomery County Senior Adults Activities Center reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding when, in the opinion of the Owner, such rejections or waivers shall be to its interest or advantage. Prior to awarding the contract, bids may be held by Montgomery County Senior Adults Activities Center for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders.
