The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District is seeking quotes to award one (1) firm-fixed price Construction contract under the authority of FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures for a contractor to replace the vehicle front entrance gate at the USACE Fountain City Service Base and make improvements to the existing perimeter security fence. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 238990 with an SBA size standard of $19,000,000. The Estimated Magnitude of Construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. All work shall take place at the USACE Fountain City Service Base - 431 North Shore Drive - Fountain City, WI 54629 - in Buffalo County, Wisconsin. The existing vehicle gate is appoximately 194 inches wide X 231 inches tall. The existing pressure plate sensor is approx. 47 inches wide X 16 ft in length. The Contractor shall supply and install a new entrance gate and hardware, including gate operator controls which will interface with existing security keypade. Existing gate and equipment will be removed and disposed of offsite. Contractor will supply and install new pressure plate system and safety photo eye sensor. Question Deadline 09/09/2024 Any questions concerning this RFQ shall be transmitted via email to John.P.Riedererusace.army.mil at least two days prior to solicitation close, to allow adequate response time. Contractor will make improvements to the security fencing including: Supplying and installing new man-door in perimeter fence Replacing aluminum ties on perimeter fence with steel ties Raising existing fence near rail signal to achieve minimum height of 7 ft fencing from gravel base Contractor will be required to furnish Payment and Performance Bonds. All work (except asphalt repair) shall be completed no later than January 3, 2025. Asphalt cleanup must be complete by 30 May 2025. The required response date/time has changed from 11-Sep-2024 11:00 AM to 13-Sep-2024 11:00 AM *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
