The exception limits are MP 23.623 to MP 28.806. Section 1 is at the Spruce Creek Bridges, from MP 23.200 to MP 23.622. The improvements include milling and resurfacing, profile restoration at the bridge Approaches, guardrail replacement, and pavement markings. Section 2 is north of Canal Road to south of Ridge Blvd., from MP 28.807 to MP 29.399. The improvements include milling, resurfacing, converting on-street parking to dedicated bicycle lanes in each direction, ADA improvements, curb ramp upgrades, curb and sidewalk replacement, decorative signing, signing, pavement markings, and minor traffic signal improvements.
