BID SECURITY: A certified check or cashier's check payable to the City of Bloomington, or satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and a licensed surety company must also accompany the Bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the Bidder fail to enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond within ten (10) days after the award of the contract. BASE BID: 1. Connect primary electrical source to automatic operators. 2. Selective demolition and make-safe for existing refrigeration room to be demoed. 3. Includes necessary temporary measures to maintain electrical services to area's outside of the refrigeration room. 4. Include an allowance of $15,000.00 to be used at the discretion of the Construction Manager. This will include either labor or materials. No profit or overhead will be allowed to be added to the cost of the work approved. Provide the Construction Manager a summary of costs of approved work to date, and credit full amount of allowance not used. All bids submitted are to be valid for sixty (60) calendar days
