Air sweep all areas and layout and restripe all pavement markings to match existing as a single application of waterborne traffic marking paint. Striping includes all parallel parking "T" stalls, all singlestriped and double-striped stalls, all disabled parking stall logos, loading zone crosshatching and path of travel crosshatching, all 12" wide crosswalk striping, all designated parking logos and numerals, all 8' Stop logos and limit lines, "15 SLOW" logos, and crosswalk markings. ADA capable spaces need to comply with 2022 California Building Code striping requirements. Contractor to provide and install accessible signage as needed to meet code compliance. See attached details and plans for locations. Repaint all red fire lane curb markings complete with "No Parking Fire Lane" logos placed per Fire Department Standards To allow the University to evaluate bidders, each bidder must submit with its bid, a Contractor's Special Statement of Experience. This Contractor's Special Statement of Experience must be provided on the Contractor's letterhead. If your firm provides inaccurate or incomplete information your firm will be found non-responsive. If your firm receives negative project references they may be found non-responsive. To be eligible for consideration of award, the Contractor's Special Statement of Experience must include: 1. Documentation that the bidder has successfully completed the following: a. A minimum of three (3) and a maximum of five (5) comparable traffic striping projects, with a construction value of $80,000 or greater, completed in the past five (5) years that demonstrate the bidder's ability to successfully complete the project with respect to project size, cost, use, complexity, etc. DO NOT incl projects currently under construction. b. All submitted projects must be within the immediate nine Bay Area counties. 2. Include the following for each project: (a) project name, (b) project address, (c) owner's name, (d) contract value at award, (e) total Change Order value, (f) completion date, (g) Owner's Representative email address and current phone number and (h) describe how project is comparable to project being bid. 3. All traffic striping projects on all UC Campuses and National Labs (LBNL, LLNL) within the last 5 years. LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: very effort will be made to ensure that all persons have equal access to contracts and other business opportunities with the University within the limits imposed by law or University policy. Each Bidder may be required to show evidence of its equal employment opportunity policy. The successful Bidder and its subcontractors will be required to follow the nondiscrimination requirements set forth in the Bidding Documents and to pay prevailing wage at the location of the work. The work described in the contract is a public work subject to section 1771 of the California Labor Code. No contractor or subcontractor, regardless of tier, may be listed on a Bid for, or engage in the performance of, any portion of this project, unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 and 1771.1. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. The successful Bidder shall pay all persons providing construction services and/or any labor on site, including any University location, no less than the UC Fair Wage (defined as $15 per hour) and shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local working condition requirements.
