Escambia County is proposing a drainage project to address erosion concerns within the unopened right of way at the intersection of East Johnson Avenue at Cody Lane. The project limits extend back 325 feet east of the intersection within the unimproved right of way. The proposed design will regrade the eroded ditch and redirect the existing outfall to the center of the right of way, utilizing 200 feet of 24-in pipe that ends with the construction of a 120 foot long, 10-foot-wide paved ditch This project will also serve to provide sufficient cover of an existing ECUA force main that has been expose by the erosion.
