DEADLINE FOR ALL QUESTIONS is noted on the procurement portal under Project Details. MANDATORY ONSITE PRE-BID CONFERENCES and site visits has been scheduled to discuss the specifications and to resolve any questions and/or misunderstanding that may arise. There will be two (2) mandatory pre-bid conferences. Potential bidders will only be required to attend one. Chatham County does not utilize third parties to obtain bids on its behalf. Chatham County is soliciting competitive bids from qualified contractors to provide all materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and labor required to furnish, build, and install (1) one 30'(ft.) x 60'(ft.) pre-engineered metal building with gutters, including slab, at the Chatham County Sheriff Office (CCSO) Firing Range. Equivalents to specifications will not be accepted. During the bidding process, bidders are not to contact any department directly. All questions regarding this project should be submitted in writing, to include the bid number and project name through the Chatham County Purchasing portal Online to Bernadine Bruen, Procurement Specialist. Questions Due Date: Question Deadline 09/16/2024 at 1:00 PM ET Direct any questions related to this ITB to Bernadine P. Bruen, Procurement Specialist, and submit all questions through the County's procurement portal. Bid bond is required at time of bid (5% of total bid). Payment and Performance Bonds (100% of bid) will be required for this project at the time of contract award. Goals established for this project are 30% combined MBE/WBE unless otherwise specified.
