The Work Includes the Furnishing of All Labor, Material and Equipment Necessary or Required to Complete All Work Set Forth in These Specifications. Bids Must Be Made on the Standard Proposal Form in the Manner Designated Therein and Must Be Enclosed in a Sealed Envelope Bearing the Name and Address of the Bidder and the Name of the Project on the Outside, Addressed to the Township of Nutley, and Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashier's Check Drawn to the Order of the Township of Nutley for Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Amount Bid, Provided Said Security Need Not Be More Than $20,000.00. All Bid Guarantees Shall Be Accompanied by an Executed Consent From an Approved Surety Company, Licensed to Conduct Business in the State of New Jersey, Agreeing to Furnish the Required Performance and Maintenance Bond Upon the Award of Contract. The work for this contract consists of Sanitary Sewer Lining improvements, as shown on the plans, which shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. Mobilization. 2. Sanitary Sewer Pipe pre-rehabilitation video inspection. 3. Sanitary Sewer Pipe post-rehabilitation video inspection. 4. Manhole lining, if and where directed. 5. Resetting manholes using new waterproof casting. 6. Resetting manholes using existing casting. 7. Raising manhole #8 by 1'. 8. Raising manhole #3 by 3' and reconstructing 6'x6' vault. 9. Raising manhole #4 by 8' and reconstructing 3'x3' vault. 10. Sanitary Sewer lining and bypass pumping, if and where directed. 11. Sanitary Sewer cleaning and debris disposal. 12. Site restoration, if and where directed. The above description of work outlines the general items and distribution of work, and should not be construed as being all-inclusive. Maintenance and protection of pedestrian traffic within the project area for the duration of the project.
