The project consists of the rehabilitation of approximately 4,830 linear feet of roadway of Zotz Road. The roadway is to be widened by one foot on each side (22' total width) and rehabbed using a two-course surface treatment (chip seal) with a cement treated subgrade. There is also a storm crossing that is to be replaced within the project limits. The project also has two additive alternates as part of the bid for additional storm crossing improvements and extension of the project limits. 1. Perform two-course surface treatment for approximately one mile of Zotz Road from SH 25 to Peysen Road 2. Roadway Culvert Removal and Installation The deadline to ask questions is 9/13/2024 5:00 PM CST. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Windthorst or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Windthorst reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by City of Windthorst for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
