The Loup Power District is requesting proposals to complete the Loup Power Canal Overflow Weir project which includes construction of a pile supported reinforced concrete overflow structure located within the canal embankment. Question Deadline 09/10/2024 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer via e-mail, or through Questcdn. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The project work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction of the proposed concrete overflow structure. Construction shall include approximately 491 cubic yards of concrete, 132,575 pounds of reinforcing steel, 27,910 square feet of steel sheet piling, 3,785 linear feet of steel piling, 5,465 pounds of structural steel, 4,360 tons of riprap, 3,671 cubic yards of earthwork, and incidental items. Work includes all necessary removals, excavation, filling, compaction, handling of water, survey staking, testing, and site work necessary to complete the project as required by the plans and specifications. 1. Letter of interest not to exceed two 8 1/2 X 11 pages. Include the company name, address, telephone number, and email address, the year the company was established, any previous names for the company, and a list of the types of services for which the company is qualified. 2. The body of the proposal not to exceed five 8 1/2 X 11 pages and three 11 X 17 pages. General overview of firms understanding of the project and approach to the project. 3. Complete and submit attached EJCDC C-451 Qualification Statement. 4. Resumes for up to ten key personnel. Resumes shall include their workplace location, a description of their relevant experience, length of time with the company, and their proposed role in the project. Resumes shall be limited to one 8 1/2 X 11 page per resume (maximum 10 pages). 5. Proposed schedule of completion not to exceed one 11 X 17 page. 6. Performance Bond and a Payment Bond executed by a corporate surety licensed in the State of Nebraska in an amount equal to 100 percent of the contract price as part of the contract. 7.
