Raw Water Supply Improvements The Project Consists of the Following Major Items: Approximately 10,850 Lf of 20' Wide Gravel Access Road and Appurtenances Approx. 350 Lf of 12" C900 Pvc Raw Water Main and Appurtenances by Open Cut Approx. 3,500 Lf of 18" C900 Pvc Raw Water Main and Appurtenances by Open Cut Approx. 3,950 Lf of 18" C900 Pvc Restrained Joint Raw Water Main and Appurtenances by Open Cut Approx. 8,900 Lf of 18" Fusible C900 Pvc Raw Water Main by Horizontal Directional Drill Approx. 45 Lf of 30" Steel Encasement and 18" Raw Water by Open Cut Construct Two (2) Parallel 4" Hpde Conduits for Duke Energy Service From Source to Transformer Location at Each Well Site With Junction Structures Every 1,200 Lf as Shown on the Drawings by Directional Drill. Construct a 2-inch Fiber Optic Conduit With Junction Structures Every 500 Lf From Buckeye Road to Well Site 6 and From Well Site 6 to Well Site 8 as Shown on the Drawings by Directional Drill and Open Cut. Lowering the Existing Pee Dee Well Pump, Extending the Existing 6" Stainless Steel Well Pipe, and Extending the Existing Electrical Power Cables for Existing Well Sites 1 Through 5. Drilling, Developing and Testing a Total of Six (6) Water Production Wells on Three Well Sites (Two Wells Per Site at Well Sites 6, 7, & 8). Work Includes Drilling the Bore Hole for the Deep Wells Using the Conventional Rotary Drilling Method, Installation of Inner and Outer Casings, Well Screens, Gravel Pack, Aquifer Development and Completion of a 24-hour Drawdown Test.
