A Pre-bid Conference Will Not Be Held. This Project is Subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, Approved August 15, 1961, P.l. 987 (Act No. 442), as Amended and Supplemented, and Reference is Made to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates Applicable to This Project Which Have Been Promulgated by the Secretary of Labor and Industry. The Contractor Must Ensure That Employees and Applicants for Employment Are Not Discriminated Against Because of Their Race, Gender, Creed, Color, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity or Expression, or in Violation of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act and Applicable Federal Laws, Against or Intimidate Any of Its Employees. All Materials Used on the Project Shall Meet the Buy America Act and the Pennsylvania Steel Procurement Act. The Ligonier Valley School District Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or Items Therein, or to Waive Any Irregularities in the Same. Proposals Will Be Received for the Following Prime Contracts: General Construction, Mechanical Construction, Plumbing Construction, and Electrical Construction. Successful Bidders Will Be Required to Enter a Contract With Ligonier Valley School District Requiring a Labor and Material Payment Bond, Maintenance Bond and Performance Bond in the Amount of Onehundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. Work Will Consist of Furnishing and Installing All Labor, Materials, and Equipment to Reorientate, Reconstruct and Regrade the Baseball Field. The Project Will Also Include, but Not Limited to: New Fencing, Retaining Walls, Bleachers, Site Work, Back Stop, Utilities, Dugouts, Bull Pens, Maintenance Area, Erosion and Sediment Pollution Control, Retention Basin, Field Drainage, Field Irrigation, Construction of Field Surface (Sod, Infield Mix, Warning Track, Home Plate, Bases, Pitchers Mound, Striping, Etc.), Score Board, Press Box/restrooms, Pavilion, Batting/pitching Practice Building and a Building Addition on the Back Side of the Existing High School.
