The City is seeking bids to install 6 Generac Generators (pre-purchased by the City) at critical facilities to serve as emergency backup power sources. The ITB-08-12-2024-02 response should be Turn-Key, including all aspects of the project (see scope of work). Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. Potential Bidders: Please read this packet completely before submitting a bid. Incomplete bid packet may result in automatic rejection of bid. Question Deadline 08/28/2024 Bidders shall submit all questions, in writing, to Antonio Jefferson, ajefferson@mygretna.com. Hire a Florida licensed contractor to install permanent emergency generators of sufficient size to provide 100% power for the locations listed below. Each installation shall include cement pads (where applicable), automatic transfer switches, and all electrical upgrades connections necessary for safe and efficient operation. The generator(s) shall be protected against a 500-year flood event by implementing specific activities as identified in FEMA guidelines or by locating the generator outside the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA). Activities shall be completed in compliance with Federal, State, and Local rules and regulations. The selected contractor will be responsible for submitting the following documents: o Copy of permit(s), notice of commencement. o Local Building Official Inspection Reports and Final Approvals o Certified Letter of Completion, as applicable: o Affirming that the project has been completed in conformance with the approved project drawings, specifications, and scope. o Certifying compliance with all applicable codes o All product specifications/data sheets (technical standards) satisfying protection requirements on all products utilized. o All installations shall be done in strict compliance with the Florida Building Code.
