Project no.20099 Construction of Chatham County Multi Agency Public Safety Facility. This is an invitation to Pre-qualified bidders ONLY. Site located at 654 Gulfstream Road, Savannah, Georgia. Work consists of, but not limited to the following: New construction of a two story 82,510 SF facility. Facility will consist of classrooms, office/administration spaces, dispatch call center, sleeping units, sally port, bay and dock areas. The facility will serve as the Emergency Operations Center. CEMA Offices, Dispatch Center. Dispatch Offices and Airport Public Safety. Questions Due Date: Aug 30th 2024, 2:00 PM EDT. Online Portal A Minority/Woman Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) is a business concern that is at least 51% owned by one or more minority/woman individuals (2) and whose daily business operations are managed and directed by one or more of the minority/female owners. Goals established for this project is 30% combined MBE/WBE goal unless otherwise specified. Withdrawal of Bids: Bids may be withdrawn by bidders prior to the time set for official opening. After time has been called, no bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the time and date of opening. Negligence or error on the part of any bidder in preparing the bid confers no right of withdrawal or modification of the bid after time has been called except as provided by Georgia law. Basis of Contract Award: Award shall be made to the lowest responsible, responsive, total lump sum fixed price Base Bid. The Payment and Performance Bond shall each be for 100% of the contract value. The Chatham County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities and make the award in the best interest of the County.
