PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Halifax Health | UF Health Medical Center of Deltona (MCD) shall hereinafter be referred to as “MCD”. MCD is interested in receiving proposals from Construction Management firms for the following projects which are listed under a corresponding Request for Qualifications for Architectural and Engineering firms under the solicitation number PROJ-24-082 – MCD ED Expansion & 4th/6th FL Build Out. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Expansion/Infill of the Emergency Department. The existing building has a shelled space of 9,400SF. The intent is to add an additional 6 observation rooms along with auxiliary rooms to that space to expand our current Emergency department capacity. The existing shelled space does not have a slab in place. 4th FL Buildout. This floor has 8,446 SF of existing shelled space. The intent is to add 13 ICU beds with the required auxiliary support spaces. The existing floor has half already built out and functions as an ICF Floor. 6th FL Buildout. The intent for this floor is to add 30 med surge patient rooms with appropriate auxiliary support areas to a completely shelled space with 21,850 SF. SEPTEMBER 18, 2024 at 12:00 PM EST Deadline for Questions This Request for Qualifications is not a contract, nor does it create any obligations on the part of MCD to purchase any services from any firms submitting a response. MCD reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in its sole discretion. Final selection shall be contingent upon the execution, without change, of a Construction Management Agreement prepared by MCD.
