Work involves the installation of a new bridge culvert to replace Bridge File #80345 located 4 km east of Seven Persons, Alberta (NE2-11-7-W4), with a new 5283 Span by 3531 Rise Thermoplastic Copolymer Coated Muliti-plate Structure Corrugated Steel Horizontal EllipseCulvert 5.0mm thick by 24.1 m invert length at 90 degree to the roadway. Work cannot commence prior to St. Mary River Irrigation water shut off which the anticipated shut off date is October 15, 2024. The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: Traffic accommodation Site isolation and care of water Removal and disposal of the existing bridge file culvert Excavation Supply and Assembly of the new bridge file culvert Backfill including common (and potentially borrow) and granular backfill material. Heavy rock riprap erosion protection including type B geotextile filter fabric. Roadway work, including Granular Base Course and Gravel Surfacing Permanent environmental protection devices Documents can be obtained from https://mpe.bidsandtenders.ca/ Award subject to final approval.
