The proposed project shall consist of making boardwalk repairs at the City of Marco Island Winterberry Beach Access. It shall include the releveling of the boardwalk, limited replacement of cap beams, fasteners, decking, and railing. The boardwalk may be closed for construction Monday through Friday but must be reopened for public use on weekends and holidays. The project shall be substantially completed within 150 days and fully completed within 180 days of the notice of commencement date. ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS/RESPONDENTS ARE HEREBY CAUTIONED NOT TO CONTACT ANY MEMBER OF THE CITY OF MARCO ISLAND STAFF OR OFFICIALS OTHER THAN THE SPECIFIED CONTACT PERSON. RESPONSIBLE VENDOR DETERMINATION Respondent is hereby notified that Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, requires that the District may not request documentation of or consider a vendor's social, political, or ideological interests when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor.
