Theater Lighting Upgrade (GC) Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27, and N.J.S.A. 18A:64A-25.44 (LFN 2024-04). Bidders are also required to comply with P.L. 1977, c. 33 (Stockholder or Partnership Disclosure Requirement) and P.L. 2004, c. 57 (Business Registration provisions of N.J.S.A. 52:32-44). Scope of Work: Perform theater lighting system upgrade work at the Main Theater in the Grunin Center, Building #11A in accordance with the construction documents titled, Grunin Center Main Stage Upgrades by Shuler Shook dated 13 May 2024, Bid Documents and Specifications dated 13 May 2024 for the same. The list of items below is meant to point out the major work items for this project. However, this list is not all-inclusive of all required work. Please refer to the construction documents included in this Request for Proposal for the work. Issue submittals for approval by Owner and Consultant. Disconnect and remove existing portable plug load theater lighting fixtures. Dimmer rack upgrades Furnish and install new dimmer rack modules Furnish and install new portable plug load lighting fixtures and new controls (DMX protocol) distribution equipment Furnish and install control racks, including control devices and patch bays within control racks. Furnish and install all required updated controls and network equipment. Network data system. Lighting control panels. Production lighting control console and accessories, including new control tablet. Furnish and install new production lighting fixtures and accessories. Furnish and install all new portable equipment. Provide patching and programming for lighting equipment and lighting control console Aim, adjust and focus all new lights per direction provided by the Colleges representative The College and building will be in use during the entirety of this project. Safety precautions must be used to ensure the safety of the faculty, staff, students and the public at all times, including the installation of barriers and temporary walls, where necessary. A path of egress will remain throughout construction at all entrances. Care must be given during every aspect of this project including deliveries, movement of materials and equipment around the exterior of the building and the performance of the work itself. A dumpster will be allowed in Parking Lot #2 on a limited basis and the location must be approved by the College. Please review construction documents for the complete scope of work and work requirements.
