City of Surprise is accepting sealed bids to secure a qualified Contractor to provide construction services at the City of Surprise Multi-Generational Community and Resource Center, per the specifications included in the IFB document. The City, utilizing funds from various Federal Sources including the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), Maricopa County, and the City's General Fund, intend to construct an approximately 32,800 square foot multi-generational community resource center in the heart of the Original Town Site ("OTS"), located at 12641 West Santa Fe Drive, Surprise, AZ 85378 This new facility, the Surprise Multi-Generational Community and Resource Center Construction Services, will house a multitude of functions with programs that encompass a wide range of recreation, social services and health and wellness, as well as socialization opportunities. Through this solicitation, the City intends to issue a contract to construct and manage the construction of all building, on-site, and off-site improvements reflected herein to the lowest proposing responsible and responsive bidder (Offeror) whose offer conforms in all material respects to the requirements and criteria set forth in the IFB. The City of Surprise will endeavor to ensure in every way possible that disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE) shall have every opportunity to participate in providing materials/services without being discriminated against on grounds of race, religion, sex, age or natural origin.
