* No bid amount to be released for publication. The construction of Cell 1 at their existing Melfort Waste Disposal Ground (Landfill). The work is located approximately 1.8 km west of the City of Melfort, Saskatchewan at SW-11-45-19. The Bid should be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified cheque or original bid bond, issued by a duly licensed surety company made payable to the Owner in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price. The Tenderer with its bid should enclose a statement from the Surety substantially in the form of the Consent of Surety stating that the Surety is willing to supply the Contract Security referred to below. The Consent of Surety should be provided whether the Tenderer uses a bid bond or a certified cheque. Pursuant to Part 2, Schedule "B" Section 2-3.23.0 of the General Conditions of the Contract, the successful Tenderer shall provide a Labour and Materials Payment Bond and a Performance Bond upon the award of the Contract each in the amount of Fifty Percent (50%) of the Tender Price and with the same surety. The cost of the Bonds shall be borne by the Contractor. Mobilization and demobilization of equipment to site, including construction of haul roads, site safety, decommissioning of monitoring wells, and all other temporary works and facilities. Grubbing of all brush, roots, and stumps from within the grubbing limits and hauling to the appropriate stockpile. Stripping of approximately 0.200 m of topsoil from within the stripping limits and hauling of material to the appropriate stockpiles as shown in the drawings. Excavation of Cell 1, stormwater pond, leachate pond, and construction of associated clay liners, embankments, intermediate berms, access roads, all other fills, and stockpiling of excess material.
