CONTACT INFO: Chris West, cwest@southalabama.edu , 251-422-0548 SCOPE OF WORK: The general scope of the work includes but is not limited to: The USA Marching Band project includes demolition of the exterior façade, roof and interior of an existing 20,000 sf pre-engineered metal building. The building frame will be used to support the new roof and exterior masonry and glass façade. There will be a 7,000-sf addition on the north side of the building. The project also includes unground utilities, parking lot modifications, site retaining walls, and a full-size grass football field used by the marching band. BONDS: A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the University of South Alabama in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000 must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required at the signing of the contract.
