Deadline to receive written inquiries: 08/12/2024 Deadline to answer written inquiries: 08/19/2024 nquiries concerning this bid may be delivered by mail, express courier, e-mail, hand, or fax to: Office of State Procurement Attention: Adam Cox 1201 North Third Street, Suite 2-160 Baton Rouge, LA 70802 E-Mail: Adam.cox@la.gov Phone: (225) 219-4207 Fax (225) 342-9756 Contractor shall all furnish labor and materials to construct a stainless steel guardrail on the edge of the concrete landing area in the rear of the Louisiana University Marine Consortium's (LUMCON) New Blue Works Facility as per Attachment C - Specifications. For any bid submitted in the amount of $50,000 or more, a bid security (insurance company, bank money order, certified check, or cashier's check) must be included with the bidder's submission in the sum of 5% of the amount bid (including base bid and additive alternates, if any) and shall become the property of the agency in the event the contract and bond are not executed within the time set forth in the bid solicitation. Failure to do so shall eliminate your bid from consideration. Please refer to Attachment A - Special Terms and Conditions page 4 for complete details of this requirement. THE STATE OF LOUISIANA HAS THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE THE CONTRACT IMMEDIATELY %discount for payment made within 30 days.
