Any question received after this deadline may not be answered Base Bid for adhered EPDM roof system, approximately 6,500 square feet on the flat roof Areas. (See: CSRC Drawing Keyed) Remove existing EPDM membrane and damaged insulation to the existing insulation and dispose of legally. (Include 400 square feet of insulation in base bid) Lightening control must be tested prior to roof removal and after reinstallation by an electrician/lightening control contractor. All work to be done by a licensed technician for lightening control. A line item is added to the bid form for a cost of UL certification. Owner's representative and Contractor shall inspect insulation substrate and designate any areas where deck repair is needed. Furnish and install new 1/4 " or 1/2 " polyisocyanurate coverboard insulation, mechanically attached to the steel deck. Fastening pattern shall comply with Manufacturer's I-90 wind uplift requirements and corner and perimeter fastening shall be enhanced to meet ASCE7 design criteria. All polyisocyanurate insulation shall meet ASTM C 1289-06, Type II, Class 4, Grade 1. Polyisocyanurate crickets and saddles need to be installed at the high sides of units and between water outlets. All polyisocyanurate insulation shall be meet ASTM C 1289-06, Type II, Class 1 Grade 2 (20 psi) Furnish & install tapered edge strip to transition from 1/2 " to zero, at scuppers and saddles. Furnish and install .060 Fully Adhered EPDM Class A fire rated roof system according to manufacturers' published specifications and requirements. Adhesive shall be aerosol or other low odor material. Owner's option, furnish and install .060 attached TPO roof system Class A fire rated roof system according to manufacturers' published specifications and requirements, Rhino Bond preferred. See Detail B. Furnish and install new ES-1 rated coping cap or fascia metal as specified at perimeters. No shop fabricated coping. Furnish manufacturer's Twenty-year material & workmanship warranty with 72mph wind coverage. Manufacturer's warranty must include perimeter metal.
