The Town of Warrenton (Town) is accepting bids from qualified, Class A contractors to perform the necessary services to upgrade its Primary Clarifier and Sludge Thickener as specified in the terms and conditions, scope, plans, and specifications herein. All work and bid cost shall consist of furnishing all equipment, superintendence, labor, skill, material and all other terms necessary for the construction of the Primary Clarifier and Sludge Thickener upgrades at the Town of Warrenton Wastewater Treatment Plant, as specified herein. Bid Bond: All bids shall be accompanied by a five percent (5%) bid bond for the total amount of base bid. PIN: 6974-84-0739-000 Performance and Payment Bonds: Performance and Payment Bond with a value of 100% of the contract amount for all contracts greater than $100,000 will be required of the successful Bidder prior to commencing work. The due date for submitting questions related to this IFB will be Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 12:00 pm. Any questions submitted on or before Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 12:00 pm will be answered and uploaded Online. A copy of Contractors Class A license shall be submitted along with the bid. Town of Warrenton Business License: The successful Contractor shall be prepared to obtain a Town of Warrenton business license, if found to be necessary.
