Bridge Maintenance for Osceola Parkway Toll Bridges The following seven (7) bridges are inspected by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) every two (2) years. Utilizing these inspection reports and additional reviews, the set of plans were created to address issues. All seven of these bridges are within the tolled portion of Osceola Parkway. Please review the plans and visit the sites prior to bidding. a) Bridge No. 924151: Known as "Osceola Parkway WB over Turnpike", work includes guardrail repair, concrete work, embankment, and miscellaneous other work. b) Bridge No. 924157: Known as "Osceola Parkway over Mill Slough", work includes epoxy, desilting, guardrail, and miscellaneous other work. c) Bridge No. 924159: Known as "Osceola Parkway over Polynesian Isle Blvd", work includes spall repair, guardrail replacement, and miscellaneous other work. d) Bridge No. 924160: Known as "Osceola Parkway over Poinciana Blvd", work includes spall repair, expansion joint repair, guardrail repair, and miscellaneous other work. e) Bridge No. 924161: Known as "Osceola Parkway over SR-535", work includes spall repair, guardrail repair, and miscellaneous other work. f) Bridge No. 924162: Known as "Osceola Parkway over Shingle Creek", work includes spall repair, expansion joint repair, guardrail repair, and miscellaneous other work. g) Bridge No. 924163: Known as "Osceola Parkway EB over Shingle Creek", work includes spall repair, expansion joint repair, guardrail repair, and miscellaneous other work. The intent of this solicitation is to engage a single successful Bidder (Contractor) to complete the required bridge maintenance for all seven (7) Osceola County Parkway Toll Bridges. Questions regarding this bid must be received through written email or faxed inquiries directed to the designated Procurement Services Representative. Questions of sufficient general interest will be formatted by the Procurement Services Office and issued to all interested parties in the form of an addendum. The deadline for questions is Friday, August 2, 2024, at 12:00PM Local Time. Project Estimate $1,600,000.00 Insurance Required No Bid Bond Required No Bid Bond Amount Performance Bond Required Yes Performance Bond Amount 100% of total amount awarded under this project. Pursuant to Chapter 3, Section 3.4-2 (D) of the Osceola County Administrative Code, after bid opening, no changes in Bid prices or other Bid provisions shall be permitted. In the event of mathematical mistakes in extended pricing, the unit price shall prevail. Mistakes discovered before opening may be modified or withdrawn via written notice from the bidder if received in the Procurement Services Office prior to the time set for Bid opening, as deemed appropriate by the Procurement Services Director.
