The general work description of the project can be generally described as: Demolition of existing interior and exterior components associated with new work to include interior renovation, painting, plumbing replacement, & electrical repair to include lighting. Attached: Scope of work with further detail Due to manpower and mail uncertainty, Sealed bids will be received at the front entrance of the office of the Directorate of Public Works, Building T0234, located near the intersection of Rives Road and 9th Street and on MTC, Fort Barfoot, Blackstone, VA 23824-9000. Time for Completion is 150 calendar days to Substantial completion. Final Completion shall be within 30 days after the date of Substantial completion Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Invitation for Bids for the above project may be obtained from the Department of Public Works Office beginning on July 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM (8.5 x 11.5 hard copy only). Questions will be due NLT 4:00PM on August 6, 2024 by email to edward.s.newcomb.nfg@army.mil
