Question Deadline 07/22/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to The Town of Jupiter Utilities, Attn: Steven Montemayor in writing by email (stevenm@jupiter.fl.us) Questions received less than three days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered The nature and scope of this project is: Furnish all labor, equipment and materials necessary to improve the drainage and water distribution systems within Pennock Industrial Park and along the north end of Bush Road. The work includes, but is not limited to furnishing and installing seventeen (17) Type "C" ditch bottom inlets, one Type "E" inlet and two Type "J" inlets that are all interconnected with +/- 770 LF of 15"/18" RCP and +/- 1,660 LF of 15"/18" slotted RCP exfiltration trench; removing +/- 230 LF of a failing 60-inch HDPE drainage pipe and exfiltration trench and replacing it with 30 LF of 60-inch RCP and +/- 200 LF of slotted RCP exfiltration trench. An additional drainage improvement includes installing +/- 360 LF of 18"/24" Cured-In-Place Pipe liner. Water distribution improvements include removal and replacement of six (6) hydrant assemblies, furnishing and installing five (5) 8" distribution isolation gate valves with thrust collars, and +/- four 6"/8" water main deflection as necessary around proposed drainage. Right-of-Way restoration includes removal and replacement of Type "D" curb, Type "F" curb, header curb, concrete flumes, concrete and asphalt roadway turnouts, eight (8) asphalt roadway crossings, roadway lane repair, roadway edge repair, collector roadway shoulder stabilization, roadway mill and resurfacing, swale grading and sodding. Also included in the work is notification to affected property owners, temporary traffic control, coordination with Town staff to isolate portions of the distribution system, backfill, compaction, inspection, disinfection, testing, and same day restoration of business water services and property access.
