This is a Design-Bid-Build (DBB) construction to install a crash-rated perimeter around Building 29 as a result of the PNYA Perimeter Security Study for Security Engineering Planning Assessment (SEPA) criteria and recommendations. The proposed action includes the installation of crash-rated post and rail, shallow foundation crash rated bollard array, deep foundation crash-rated bollards, crash rated drop-arm barriers, and associated modifications to utilities and roadways. The proposed action is required to protect multiple Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) buildings and assets. The proposed action does not include any alterations to character defining features of Building 29. RFIs must be submitted in writing to Francis Caruso at francis.a.caruso10.civ@us.navy.mil and Alex Veurink at alexander.d.veurink.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 5 calendar days after the site visit. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
