The Northwest Territories Power Corporation (NTPC) is requesting Proposals from qualified bidders (Proponents) to assemble and install a platform to raise the voltage regulators in the Franks Channel Substation. The proponent will work with NTPC line crew to safely execute this scope of work. This work is required for the Franks Channel Substation Upgrades project for which most of the scope will be executed by NTPC line crew. Generally, the project proposes to replace and/or relocate certain substation equipment, replace several structures within the substation, and install a prefabricated platform to raise the existing voltage regulators to address current safety concerns, space constraints in the substation, and approaching end of life of certain structures and/or equipment. TIMELINE: This request for proposal was cancelled by the owner. Timelines for re-tender is undetermined. Project will be updated if/when it is approved to retender. Coverage is discontinued.
