(Kemira) to supply ferrous chloride to safely precipitate hydrogen sulfide in wastewater for odour control and corrosion reduction. The term of the agreement for ferrous chloride supply is from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. The estimated value is over $75,000 including transport. The RDN wishes to direct award for the following reasons: To the best of the RDNs knowledge, Kemira is the only supplier of ferrous chloride in British Columbia.
