The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans is requesting bids for repaving open cuts in driveways and sidewalks. All inquiries shall be directed to Connor Metcalf, Procurement Analyst, at cmetcalf@swbno.org. The deadline for inquiries is on January 24, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Central Time ***pre-bid event: All prospective bidders shall be present at the beginning of the pre-bid conference and shall remain in attendance for the duration of the conference. Any prospective bidder who fails to attend the pre-bid conference or remain for the duration shall be prohibited from submitting a bid for the project. Bidders failure to attend the mandatory pre-bid conference will be disqualified from presenting a bid submission. This contract includes, but is not limited to the following items of work: 1) Removal of Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans barricades, if present, from the open cut, placement of them in a safe location in the area of the open cut for retrieval by the Board, and the placement of the Contractor's barricades around the cut, all within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving a work order. 2) Maintenance of temporary pavement and barricades, as necessary, to protect persons, animals and vehicles of the public from injury, until all work is completed. 3) Removal and disposal of temporary pavement and related materials, and any additional pavement or surface as designated by the Engineer, and restoration of permanent pavement. 4) Removal and disposal of all related construction debris, restoring site to broom swept condition, and removal of all construction equipment, materials and barricades.
