Questions Due February 13, 2024 @ 4:00 PM Bidders shall submit questions via email to Simranjit Singh at Simranjit.singh@chp.ca.gov. SCOPE OF WORK Contractor to perform all monitoring and testing in accordance with California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4, Chapter 15, Article 3, 64424. Contractor at the time of bid, shall provide a copy of the laboratory that will be used to perform testing and state certification. Functions include the following: Detailed description of work to be performed: A. Provide updated equipment when applicable. B. Water Softener services utilizing nine inches by forty-four inches (9" X 44") Portable Exchange (P.E.) Tanks. C. Each tank contains a fifty thousand (50,000)-grain softening capacity. D. Services shall be performed: 1. Maintenance shall be on a bi-weekly schedule. 2. Inspection shall be on a quarterly schedule. Inspection shall include replacement of water filters in two Linis Pure Water System Units 3. Contractor shall install/exchange six (6) P.E. Tanks, complete with six (6) tank headers, quick connect hoses, and valves. 4. Exchange tanks shall be freshly regenerated, sterilized, and inspected prior to installation. 5. Equipment must be maintained in good operation condition at all times, without leakage of pipes, pipe fittings, or tanks. Filters replaced as needed, and no less than quarterly. 6. Filter part numbers: a. PD-10-934, Sediment Filter, CB1-10, Carbon Block Filter b. 1/4" Coconut Carbon Inline Filter, 100 GPD Membrane, as needed
