City-County of Butte-Silver Bow is requesting sealed bids or proposals for supplying Chemicals to be used in the Butte-Silver Bow Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants and Public Swimming Pool. All Bids must be accompanied by an 10% bid bond in the form of (a) lawful monies of the United States; (b) a cashier's check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft, in any case drawn and issued by a national Banking association located in the State of Montana; (c) a Bid bond or bonds executive by a surety corporation authorized to do business in the State of Montana. These securities will be forfeited to the Butte-Silver Bow City-County Government as liquidated damages if the requirements in the way of contract are not entered into within fifteen (15) days after the date of award by the Council of Commissioners. Federal Excise Tax should not be included in the Bids as Butte-Silver Bow City-County is exempt from it. The successful Bidder shall comply with all applicable Federal Regulations and Requirements which include but are not limited to Section 3 Clause, Equal Opportunity Clause, Executive Order 11246 and 11624, Federal Labor Standards and Civil Rights Act. Accordingly, the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow reserves the right to negotiate an agreement based upon fair and reasonable compensation for the scope of work and services proposed, as well as the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid deemed to represent the best interests of the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow. DESCRIPTION 1. The Contract Documents cover the purchase of Sodium Hypochlorite Solution, 25% Sodium Hydroxide Solution, 50% Sodium Hydroxide Solution, 50% Citric Acid Solution, Liquid Aluminum Sulfate, Liquid Chlorine, Orthophosphate Corrosion Inhibitor, Sodium Carbonate Peroxyhydrate, Liquid Aluminum Chlorohydrate, and MicroC2000 or equivalent for use in Butte-Silver Bow's Water and/or Wastewater Treatment Plants as well as the Public Swimming Pool. The unit price for each item shall be F.O.B. Butte, Montana, Basin Creek Water Treatment Plant and/or Big Hole Water Treatment Plant and/or METRO Wastewater Facility and/or Moulton Water Treatment Plant and/or Ridge Waters Waterpark. 2. Unless specifically noted the Supplier shall provide and pay for all labor, materials, equipment and other facilities and services necessary to supply items required by the Contract Documents. 3. Low bids will be selected on a per chemical basis, not overall bid list amount. INTERPRETATION OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS 1. Contract Documents shall be considered modified, amended or clarified by such addendum. 2.
