All Bidders must be commercial flooring contractors and should have the necessary license to conduct business in the State of Tennessee. Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check or by a Bidder's Bond executed by the Bidder and a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to execute an acceptable performance and payment bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price prior to the execution of the contract. Rogersville City School reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid deemed most favorable to the interest of the school system. Questions regarding this bid request shall be directed, in writing via e-mail, to Dr. Melanie Doss at mdoss@lewisgroup.net. All technical questions will be addressed by written addendum issued by Lewis Group Architects. Requests for Substitutions will only be considered when submitted by a General Contractor bidding the project. Provide Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of the Contract.
