The project consists of the installation of specified new Light Fixture Units, (“Kenall” ‘Mighty Mac’ CD Series CD2-0/0-1-25L40K-DCC-1-120-(Sym/9)-1-DLN), and associated Wiring at select existing inmate cell Pod locations of the Atlantic County Justice Facility Main Jail Building, located at 5060 Atlantic Avenue, Mays Landing, New Jersey. The Base Bid work is scheduled to occur at the individual inmate cells of Pod A, Pod B, and Pod C, Question Deadline 01/15/2024 at 5:00 PM Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond must be not less than ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the bid, except that no check or bid bond shall be for more than $20,000.00 and made payable to the Atlantic County Treasurer which the undersigned agrees is to be forfeited as liquidated damages and not a penalty if the Contract is awarded to the undersigned and the undersigned shall fail to execute the Contract for the project or furnish the required bond. Otherwise, said deposit shall be returned to the undersigned. If the successful Bidder fails to execute and deliver the Agreement and furnish the required Performance Bond within ten (10) days of the Notice of Award, the check or bond of the successful bidder shall be forfeited as liquidated damages and the County may annul the Notice of Award. The Bidder that is awarded a contract shall, simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract, submit an executed performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the acceptable bid as security for the faithful performance of this contract. The surety on such bond or bonds shall be a duly authorized surety company authorized to issue performance bonds in the State of New Jersey The County reserves the right to reject all bids, when the County determines that rejection of all bids is advisable to the extent that rejection of all bids is permitted under the provisions of the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law.
