Concrete- Demo and remove 2 concrete pads at beginning of driveway/city street. Prepare surface, form and pour new pads. Front and Side Door Access Ramps- Demo and remove ramps at both doors. Rebuild new ramps and guardrails at both doors to ADA and Code compliance. Grading- Remove and dispose of decorative blocks and bricks from exterior of home. Regrade using topsoil fill around rear foundation and between new side door access ramp and the foundation. Grading depth to be a minimum of 6" and sloping away from the home. Window Caulking- Remove old caulking on the exterior of the living room picture windows and replace with exterior rated caulking. Fence Gate- Repair rear yard fence gate to operable condition. Downspout- Install new aluminum, k-style downspout at South-East corner of home. Extend downspout away from the foundation of the home at a minimum of 4' and avoiding discharge across sidewalks/driveway/ramps. Provide splashblock at point of discharge. Electrical- Install 1 GFCI at laundry tub for washer and 1 GFCI to the left of the kitchen sink. Switchplates to the left of the kitchen sink are to be enclosed properly to ensure no water penetration. New exhaust fan to be installed above the kitchen stove and vented to the exterior of the home using the previous pathway of the broken vent fan. Patch, prime and paint to color match any ceiling drywall that is affected/disturbed during installation of new exhaust fan. New exhaust fan to be switch operated and installed by licensed electrician to meet code compliance. Exterior louver for exhaust fan to be pest proof. HVAC- Dryer venting to be repaired and re-installed to code compliance. Contractors are notified that it is NIDC policy to strongly encourage SBE and Section 3 participation on all NIDC-sponsored contracts. This bid document consists of at least three pages; the Bid Submission Form, the Contractor's References, and the Scope of Work.. All pages must be completed and submitted as your bid.
