The right is reserved to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities concerning bid or award bid to the lowest, responsible bidder or bidders, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the proposals for the performance of the contract. There is one 1-story single-family residential home with a stoop, ramp, and wood deck (+ - 1,700 SF including stoop, ramp, and deck) and one detached storage building (+-160 SF). There is at least one underground storage tank. It is the contractors responsibility to determine the size of the tank. The lot size is 0.41 acres. Raze and remove from site all buildings and structures, to include if present, walls, foundations, footings, basements, roofing materials, doors, windows, fireplaces, porches, stoops, steps, slabs, HVAC systems, walkways, retaining walls, detached garages, carports, and storage buildings, well and pump houses, swimming pools, metal, wood, paper, glass, bottles, cans, garbage, pine straw, leaves, and other debris present on thissite. Also if present, lawfully remove and/or fill and abandon private wells, septic tanks, and underground storage tanks. Clean lot. Remove all underground and overhead wiring not connected to electrical service, and other items associated with the primary structure. Remove all building and construction materials, rubbish, trash, debris, tall weeds, tall grass, undergrowth, vines, felled trees, dead trees (standing or felled), felled limbs, logs, and organic debris from lot. Remove all shrubs, bushes, and trees from the entire site that measure four inches or less in diameter, to include lot line areas and rear lot area. Remove concrete and/or asphalt driveways and parking areas, walkways, patios, pavers, CMUs, stones, etc. Dispose of all materials and debris at approved landfills and/or processing sites. Much of the crawlspace area of the home is below grade of the surrounding soil. Add fill dirt as needed to raise excavated areas to the same grade level as the existing surrounding soil. Expect to add a minimum of 100 CY of fill dirt to this area. Additional fill dirt will be required to fill the area where the underground storage tank is currently located.
