The Board of Commissioners for Charles County are hereby requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors to drill, construct, develop, and test the new Mattawoman-Beantown production well. There is an aspirational goal of 25% MWBE participation for each project. The site of the proposed new Mattawoman-Beantown production well is located west of the intersection of Mattawoman Drive and Mattawoman-Beantown Road in Waldorf, Maryland The primary purpose of the project is to drill, construct, develop, and test the new Mattawoman-Beantown production well which generally includes the following: A. Mobilization B. Erosion and Sediment Control Measures C. Drill Pilot Hole D. Construct, Develop, and Test New Production Well E. Furnish and Install Baker Monitor Pitless Unit F. Offsite Disposal of Drilling Fluids G. Demobilization and Site Restoration Time of Completion - (180) consecutive calendar days The work under this Contract includes all requirements to provide a fully finished and operable water well, including miscellaneous items and incidentals as shall be indicated, shown, specified or required to complete the work in strict conformity with the Contract Documents. 1. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, appliances, materials and incidentals, and shall perform all operations required to completely finish all of the work to the satisfaction of the Owner and the Engineer. The Contractor shall be obligated to furnish a complete and functioning facility, or the portion of the facility that they have been selected to complete. 2. The Contractor shall drill, develop and test the new production well and install the new pitless unit in accordance with the Contract requirements to achieve Substantial Completion. 3. Installation and testing of the permanent pumping equipment and abandonment of the existing production well is not included in Contract.
