The City of Las Vegas (Owner) is soliciting preliminary proposals from qualified Design-Build Teams (Applicants) as defined in Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) 338 to design and construct a substation for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and a 2 acre park. (Project). Located at: Hualapai Way and Grand Teton Drive Question Deadline 02/01/2024 at 1:30 PM PT All questions and inquiries pertaining to this RFPP must be submitted in writing to Tressa Fernandez at tfernandez@lasvegasnevada.gov The Owner seeks a Design-Build Team to provide professional design, project management, and construction services for the design and construction of a Substation for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police with public parking and secure parking for patrol vehicles. Project also includes the design and construction of a 2 acre park with two play areas, turf area, walk trail and potential skate park. The Bridging Documents for this Project will be provided to the Finalists. The Owner will evaluate the preliminary proposals received from responsive Applicants for the purpose of selecting at least two but no more than four Finalists which the Owner deems most qualified based on the criteria contained herein. The Owner will solicit final proposals from these Finalists using a Request for Final Proposals. Only Applicants selected as Finalists are allowed to submit proposals during the RFP phase. The RFP will set forth the factors the Owner will use to make a final selection. The selected Applicant and the Owner may then enter into a Design-Build Contract in accordance with the requirements set forth in the RFP.
